Terms of Service

Welcome to Shopssee. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shopssee website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Use of the Services

  • Do not misuse the Services, interfere with their normal operation, or access them using a method other than the interfaces and instructions we provide.
  • Do not send spam, harass, or engage in fraudulent activity.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services except as permitted by law.

4. User Content

"User Content" means text, images, messages, and other materials you submit. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Shopssee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display it solely to operate and improve the Services.

5. Interactions with Shops and Companies

Shopssee facilitates communications between users and shops/companies. Shopssee is not a party to transactions between users and shops and does not guarantee availability, pricing, or product specifications provided by shops.

6. Payments and Fees

Where applicable, certain premium features may involve fees. Taxes may apply. Refunds are handled according to the policy shown at the point of purchase and applicable law.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share information.

8. Intellectual Property

Shopssee and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including trademarks, logos, and software.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to third-party sites or services. Shopssee is not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SHOPSSEE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOPSSEE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Shopssee harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.

14. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may modify the Services and these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting on our site, via the app, or by email. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
